Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar arrives in Ayodhya to offer prayers at Ram Mandir

Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) [India], May 10 (ANI): Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, along with his wife Sudesh Dhankhar, arrived in Ayodhya to offer prayers at Ram Mandir on Friday.
Upon their arrival, Jagdeep Dhankhar and his wife, Sudesh Dhankhar, were welcomed by Uttar Pradesh Minister Surya Pratap Shahi.
"Hon'ble Vice-President, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar & Dr Sudesh Dhankhar being welcomed by Shri Surya Pratap Shahi Ji, Hon'ble Minister, Government of Uttar Pradesh and other dignitaries on their arrival in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh today," the Office of the Vice-President said in a post on X.


Recently, President Droupadi Murmu also offered prayers at the Ram temple.
The 'Pran Pratishtha' of Shri Ram Lalla at Ayodhya's historic temple was held on January 22, with PM Modi performing the Vedic rituals, led by a group of priests.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of all major spiritual and religious sects in the country. People from all walks of life, including representatives of various tribal communities, attended the ceremony.
Acharya Satyendra Das is the Chief Priest of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Temple, in Ayodhya.
The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir is constructed in traditional Nagara style. Its length (east-west) is 380 feet; width is 250 feet and height is 161 feet; and is supported by a total of 392 pillars and 44 doors.
The pillars and walls of the temple showcase intricately sculpted depictions of Hindu deities, Gods, and Goddesses. In the main sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor, the childhood form of Bhagwan Shri Ram (the idol of Shri Ramlalla) has been placed.
Lakhs of devotees have been flocking to Ayodhya since the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Lord Ram Lalla. The number of daily visitors to the Hanumangarhi Ram Temple has also been increasing rapidly.
According to the Ministry of Tourism data, more than 1.5 crore people have visited the Ayodhya Ram temple since the consecration ceremony. (ANI)
