'Italy National Congress': BJP's Comeback At Revanth Reddy Over 'British Janata Party' Jibe | VIDEO

Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP's) general secretary Bandi Sanjay on hit back at Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for his 'British Janata Party' jibe at the saffron party. While hitting out at Reddy, Sanjay, who is also BJP's candidate from Karimnagar, dubbed the Indian National Congress (INC), the 'Italy National Congress'.


Sanjay stated, "Congress was founded by A.O.Hume, who was a Britisher. INC is Italy National Congress".

Reddy on Thursday accused the BJP of adopting the policy of "divide and rule". He alleged that the saffron party was dividing the people on the basis of religion to win the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

The Telangana CM had made these remarks during a roadshow in Rajendranagar in support of the party candidate from the Chevalla Lok Sabha seat. Revanth Reddy said that the BJP would change the constitution.

The Lok Sabha Elections for 17 seats in Telangana will be held in the fourth phase. Voted will be counted on June 4 across the nation.

As per the latest, Times Now-ETG Research Survey, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is likely to bag four to six seats which is almost the same as compared to the previous polls where the saffron party won four. The INDIA bloc is likely to increase its tally to eight to 10 seats from three. The BRS is likely to secure 1-3 seats while others can bag up to zero to two seats.

The parliamentary polls are being held in the country in seven phases from April 19 to June 1.
