Meet Sudha Reddy, Hyderabad-based Billionaire Who Wore Over 200 Carats Of Diamonds At Met Gala 2024

New Delhi: Sudha Reddy, director of the MEIL Group, grabbed eyeballs as she returned to the Met Gala 2024 after a gap of two years since making her debut in 2021. The Indian businesswoman and billionaire looked stunning in an embellished dress which she paired with a 180-carat diamond necklace that made heads turn.

According to reports, Reddy wore a 180-carat diamond necklace called "Amore Eterno". The neckpiece is made of a 25-carat heart-shaped diamond and three more 20-carat heart-shaped diamonds representing her husband and their two kids.

Sudha Reddy, chose an elaborate ivory silk gown designed by Tarun Tahiliani to pay tribute to the Met theme and exhibition launched at the Costume Institute titled, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion."

Along with the necklace, she wore a 23-carat diamond solitaire ring and another 20-carat diamond solitaire ring, which is said to be worth $20 million, reported Page Six.

She carried a vintage Chanel bag which was priced at over 40,000 USD is a testament to Sudha’s impeccable taste and style. In her post on Instagram, Reddy revealed, "Handcrafted by over 80 artisans over 4500-man hours, the ivory silk gown epitomized the talents of master artisans. Its meticulously rendered bodice, adorned with hand-carved mother-of-pearl flowers and symbolic 3D butterflies, flowed gracefully, embodying the essence of self-expression through its cascading drapery."
