Meanwhile, following the state government order allowing inward and outward movement of stranded migrant workers, the district administration on Friday issued a standard operating procedure for planning their movement. It also deployed officials and fixed their responsibilities to facilitate movement to and from Gurgaon.

Those stranded in other states and travelling back to Gurgaon in their private vehicles, they should register themselves on the link https://edisha.gov.in/eForms/MigrantService and download the permission prior to the journey.

They have to submit the format during medical screening at border check posts. However, people will have to apply for permits from the districts they are currently living in. They should mention their destination, date of journey and route. A team of officers will keep those who register updated about the place of medical screening through SMS.
