1278 New Cases of Coronavirus in Maharashtra, 832 Deaths So Far

Mumbai : 1278 new corona patients were found in the state on Sunday. After which the number of patients here has increased to 22,173. At the same time, 53 people have died from Corona.

The good thing is that so far 4,199 patients have fully recovered and returned home. Corona case first time in Wardha district has been detected so far. In Maharashtra, now Corona has entered all the districts. However, not a single corona positive has been found in Gondia for the last three days.

The test of patients in Bhandara and Gondia has come negative, after which there is not a single corona patient in both the districts. Washim and Beed have reported one Corona patient so far. A 35-year-old woman from Hivra Tanda in Arvi taluka of Wardha tested positive for corona. The woman died while on her way to a government hospital. She was taken to Vinoba Bhave Sawangi Hospital from where her sample was collected on 8th. After that today, her report came Corona positive. After this incident, Hivara Tanda village and the private hospitals located in the area were sealed. On March 26, a patient was found infected with corona in Gondia district. After treatment, his report came negative and he was discharged from the hospital on 10 April.

The spread of corona in tribal and rural areas has been curbed, but the situation is still critical in metropolitan areas. In Mumbai alone, 19 patients died due to Corona on Sunday. Today, in Maharashtra, 875 new patients have been found positive. A total of 625 suspected patients are admitted. On Sunday, 1278 new patients were found in the state. After which now the number of corona cases has increased to 22,173. So far, 399 patients have been cured in a day and so far 4199 infected patients have been cured in the state. 53 corona victims died in the state in one day. It includes 33 males and 20 females. 19 out of 53 deaths were over 60 years of age. 30 people who died were of 40 to 60 age group.

The death toll from Corona in the state has now risen to 832. Of the 53 deaths today, 19 are in Mumbai, 5 in Pune, 5 in Jalgaon, 3 in Dhule, one each in Pimpri Chinchwad, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Nandurbar, Solapur and Vasai-Virar. So far, out of 2 lakh 38 thousand 766 samples sent to the laboratory, laboratory samples of 2 lakh 15 thousand 903 people have tested negative. 22 thousand 171 people have come positive.
