2 laboureres found dead in Bageshwar

PITHORAGARH: Two labourers from Nepal were found dead on the stairs of their residence in Bageshwar . Police have sent the bodies for post-mortem and have started an investigation. However, no police report was filed as there was no formal complaint.


The deceased were identified as Padam Bahadur (38) and Aggi Bahadur (45), who were living in a house in Kathayatbada locality in Bageshwar.

“Their bodies were found just outside their homes on Friday,” said MC Joshi, CO Bageshwar. No injury marks were found in either body. Police don’t yet have a clue as to what might have caused the deaths.

On Saturday, police interrogated some friends of the deceased, but got no concrete information. A neighbour informed that the duo drank alcohol and fought regularly.

Their friends cremated bodies of the deceased on Saturday in Bageshwar.
