25-year-old booked for rape & acid threats

Ghaziabad: A man has been arrested for allegedly threatening a girl by sending her messages of rape and acid threats . Police said the accused, Arman (25), had even threatened the girl of raping her if she did not respond to his messages.

The girl, a BSc second-year student, had met the accused at a friend’s birthday party in January and after that the man had started stalking her.

“The man has been booked under relevant sections of IPC and IT Act,” said station house officer at Sahibabad police station.
