3 held with 150gm heroin in Hisar

Hisar: On Sunday, a team of Hisar police and STF (special tasks force) has arrested three men near Landhari toll plaza of Hisar for allegedly smuggling heroin. The police have recovered 150gm heroin from the three.

The police spokesman Harish Bhardwaj said that a case has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act against Mahender, a resident of Madho Singhana village of Sirsa, Rohit, a resident of Sirsa and Prashant, a resident of Hapur of Uttar Pradesh.

He said that the joint team of STF and Agroha Police had laid a naka near Landhari toll plaza. They stopped the car of the accused on suspicion and found the heroin in the dashboard of the car.

Bhardwaj said during interrogation, the accused revealed that they had bought the heroin for Rs 1.5 lakh in Delhi to sell it for more in Sirsa. The police are now investigating the network of drug dealers to trace the kingpin of the drug racket.
