50K acres Cotto damaged in Haryana

 

Cotton crop on almost 50,000 sections of land in the state has been harmed due to waterlogging after the ongoing downpours. Reports from ranchers and authorities demonstrate that the harvest on about 10,000 sections of land has totally died.

The harvest is completely wrecked in the overwhelmed regions of Hisar, Bhiwani and Jind regions, known as the cotton belt of Haryana.

The water has been remaining in the fields for the most recent few weeks.

Whitefly danger as well

There is all the more awful news for cotton ranchers as a Haryana Agricultural University group watched aphid and whitefly pervasion during first seven day stretch of August in cotton and different yields in the district.

Naresh Kumar, sarpanch of Bhatol Jatan town, stated: “After the cotton crop died, ranchers planted paddy however that excessively got harmed.
