72 people died in Bengal from Amfan, CM Mamta announced compensation

Kolkata: Cyclone Amfan has broken into havoc in West Bengal. In Bengal, 72 people have lost their lives due to the amfan. West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee has given information in this regard. He said that I would urge PM Narendra Modi to come to West Bengal and visit the areas affected by cyclone Amfan. Along with this, CM Mamta has also announced compensation for the victims.

Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee has said, "The West Bengal government will give a compensation of two lakh rupees to the families of the people who lost their lives due to cyclonic storms." All the affected people will be given full help from the cyclonic storm 'Amfan' and will leave no stone unturned.

CM Mamta Banerjee said that today our income is zero and we have to face challenges. 72 people have died due to the storm in the entire state. According to Mamta Banerjee, 15 people have lost their lives in the state capital Kolkata, 7 in Howrah, 17 in North 24 Parganas, 6 in East Midnapore, 18 in South 24 Parganas and 2 in Hooghly.
