In an incident that looks straight out of a movie scene, a 9-year-old boy fell off his horse while racing and then got right back up and continued in the race.

A video of the incident which took place in Kerur village, Chikkodi Taluk, Karnataka shows the boy riding a horse at a high speed without a saddle!

But the horse suddenly trips, throwing the little guy off balance and on the road.

After the horrible fall, the boy simply shrugs of the dust, gets on one of the motorbikes following the racer.

He then climbs back up on his horse that was galloping away and ends up winning the race.

Soon after the video went viral many who hailed the youngster’s determination, the others slammed the organizers for the lack of safety precautions.

The bike behind could’ve run him over. Where’s the safety? Not to mention animal cruelty...

While it’s not fair for us to make minor as a jockey 🏇 Liked the spirit of that kid. I think he didn’t even check his bruises until the race ended.

You're right sir... but amused at the never let go attitude... a fall shouldn't hold you back? Getting back on the horse? Could see so many inspirational messages hidden in it.. ha ha..

Film stars would have got crores just for this stunt only. Amazing courage and skills. The boy should be trained for Polo

While covering the courage of the young boy it would be still nice for you to raise concerns on the legality of such races in India which endanger the lives of young kids. It seems while promoting this agenda you forgot to see that the young boy narrowly escaped an accident/death

According to a TOI report, the horse he was riding belonged to one of his relatives from Bhiradi village in Raibag taluk. Horse racing like this is pretty popularly in this village and they usually train children because of their agility.

The problem with this sport is the safety of minors who participate. The report quoted superintendent of police Sudheerkumar Reddy saying that there's no law regulating the participation of children and people do it without fear of being busted.
