903 new cases of corona reported in Kerala, infectious figures crosses 21,000

Thiruvananthapuram: Corona infection has been detected in 903 more people in Kerala on Wednesday. Thirty of which include health workers. The figure of total patients in the state has crossed 21 thousand i.e. 21,797. With the death of 1 more corona in the state, the total number of people killed in this epidemic in the state has reached 68.

Kerala Health Minister KK Selja said in a release that at present 10,351 patients are undergoing treatment while 11,369 patients have become healthy, out of which 641 patients were discharged from hospital after recovering on Wednesday.

He said that after the arrival of 1,167 new cases on Tuesday, there was a partial decrease in the number of new marriages on Wednesday. Out of which 138 corona patients were infected due to contact.

The Health Minister further said that apart from Thiruvananthapuram, 84 slogans in Kollam, 87 in Malappuram, 83 in Ernakulam, 67 in Kozhikode, 54 in Pathanamthitta, 49-49 in Palakkad-Kasaragod have been reported. The death toll from corona infection in the state has reached 68. Shailaja said that out of those who were confirmed to be infected with corona on Wednesday, 90 had returned from abroad while 71 had come to Kerala from other states.
