A fund raising campaign on social media to help Mebiena's family
A few days after the death of Mebiena Michale, winner of the reality show Pyaate Hudugir Halli Lifu, her friends and fans have started an online fund raising campaign to help Mebiena’s mother and brother financially.
"The common message which is being circulated on social media is a humble request from our side to our extended Instagram family #fundformebienamichael is a campaign truly rooted to help her mother and her younger brother.
Please note: There is no personal benefits out of the campaign we are conducting," says Dileepa Gowda,
Mebiena Michael was killed in a road accident. The unfortunate incident happened last Tuesday evening near Devihalli of Nagamangala Taluk , when she was heading towards her home town Madikeri. She was 22. Mebiena’s death shocked her family, friends and the entire television industry. A case was registered at Belluru police station.
In June 2018, Mebiena Michael was crowned the winner of Pyaate Hudugir Halli Life season 4, which was hosted by Akul Balaji. She won the hearts of viewers with her sportive spirit. The show was held at Banavasi village near Hassan . Mebiena started her career as a model before venturing into the television show. On the show, urban girls used to leading a posh life in the city, had to stay in a village and take up various physical activities without the facilities available in urban areas. Mebiena was declared the winner based on her activities and viewers' votes.
