Adil Khan Durrani Accuses Ex-Wife Rakhi Sawant Of Stealing Money, Calls Her 'Cheater, Imposter'

In a recent interview, Adil Khan Durrani, Rakhi Sawant's former husband, made new allegations against her, claiming that she has been engaged in fraudulent activities, including stealing money from people. He called her an 'imposter' and a 'cheater', implying that her actions stem from being 'frustrated' by the several legal cases that have already been filed against her.

Adil Calls Rakhi Cheater In an interview with ETimes, Adil, who recently tied the knot with Bigg Boss 12 fame Somi Khan, mentioned that Rakhi cannot process the news of his new marriage.

He said, "Rakhi Sawant has the habit of stealing people’s money or conning people is not able to digest that I’ve moved on in life and leading a happy life. She is an imposter and a cheater. She is purposely making all these baseless and useless talks just to stay in the news. In fact, because of all the crimes she has done here she is not even getting bail on all the cases. I think she is out of her mind right now and has become very frustrated."

Conflict Between Rakhi And Adil The conflict that is currently going on between Adil and Rakhi is intensifying, with both parties making huge and serious accusations against each other. In response to Rakhi's assertations, Adil countered saying that the screenshots and messages that are shown as evidence are outdated, dating back to approximately a year or more ago. Besides this, he also addressed Rakhi's comments on her religious affiliation, highlighting her inconsistent self-identification between Hinduism and Islam.

Rakhi had previously suggested that Adil was attempting to reconcile with her despite being married to Somi. To which Adil responded saying, "Rakhi Sawant has no other work. She keeps making allegations against me. She has been doing that always. I’ve no interest in getting back to her. I’m very happy with my wife and I don’t have to call anybody to get back with her."

Cases Filed Against Rakhi The Bombay High Court denied anticipatory bail for Rakhi Sawant in a case filed by her estranged husband Adil Durrani. He accused Sawant of disseminating his private and sexually explicit video on various media platforms.

Sawant, contesting the rejection of her anticipatory bail by the sessions court, appealed to the High Court. However, she withdrew her plea in February 2024 after Justice Sarang Kotwal indicated that he was not inclined to grant her relief.
