After boat, Priyanka Gandhi to visit Ayodhya by train on March 27

After her three days Ganga Yatra from Prayagraj to Varanasi on a boat, Priyanka Gandhi is all set to do a Rail Yatra this time to the temple town of Ayodhya.

Priyanka’s visit to Ayodhya is significant as she is planning to take on BJP from their strongholds. Also the party thinks it has a fair chance of winning Faizabad Lok Sabha seat, where former state Congress president Nirmal Khatri is in fray.



On March 26 evening Priyanka will take the Kaifiyat Express train in Delhi and depart for Faizabad at 7.15 in the evening. Next morning on March 27, she would be reaching Faizabad early morning around 5.30. After some rest her day would begin with a visit to Hanumangarhi Temple in Ayodhya. This would be Priyanka’s first visit to Ayodhya after she has become the party general secretary in-charge of east UP. After Darshan at Hanumangarhi at 10, Priyanka would be traveling by roads through different parts of the city where party workers will welcome her.

She will also address two Nukkar Sabha and interact with students at one place during the day.

As per her schedule accessed by ET, she would do a Nukkar Sabha at Reedganj, Faizabad at 11.25, which has been organised by Gulshan Bindu Kinnar, a social and political activist.

At 1.30, she is supposed to interact with students at Deva Inter College, Usaru Amauna in Barun, Faizabad.

At 2.50, she would address another Nukkar Sabha at Naua Kuwan which has been organized by Zila Panchayat member Akhilesh Yadav.

Priyanka will spend the entire day on road in Ayodhya-Faizabad, interacting with party workers and people. By 4.30 she will depart to Amethi by road.

Her night stay would be in Amethi. In the coming two days on March 28 and 29 she would be traveling in Amethi, Rae Bareli and Barabanki.
