After two days in jail, bail for Damoh 'batman'

BHOPAL: After spending more than two days in jail for terrorizing a municipal officer, Vivek Agrawal — the ‘batman’ of Damoh , was given bail on Monday afternoon. He left the jail around 7:30 in the evening post completion of the paper work.


Speaking to medi, he said “ I was inspired by Akash Vijayvargiya and would soon meet him to seek his blessings.”

Agrawal, who is also vice president of Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha in Damoh, terrorized the municipality personnel in Damoh. He was arrested under section 151 of the CrPC on Saturday. After the SDM denied bail, Agrawal was sent to jail.

The same day, he was also booked under section 186 (obstructing work of public servant) and 506 (abuse) after an FIR lodged by the chef municipal officer of Damoh.

As Vivek had introduced himself representative of her mother, who is a BJP corporator, she too, was served the notice and asked to explain her position.
