Ahmedabad: After quarrel with wife at police station, cop commits suicide by hanging self 

Ahmedabad: In a tragic incident, a policeman in Gujarat's Kheda allegedly committed suicide after a tiff with his wife. The victim has been identified as 39-year-old Divyant Parmar. 

The deceased constable was posted with the Dakor police station in Kheda district. The cop was found hanging at his home in police lines.

As per a report in Times of India, the policeman and his wife indulged in a dispute on Tuesday evening and both reached the police station following the dispute.   

As the two indulge in dispute at the police station, the cop threatened cops and his wife with suicide. He then immediately rushed home and locked himself in the room and hanged himself. Parmar's wife and other police officials followed him, but could not save the cop.

Delhi cop kills constable wife, then shoots self dead

In a similar incident on May 5, a Delhi Police head constable shot his wife dead in a car after an argument in New Delhi. The cop's wife was also a constable in Delhi Police. She was posted with the corona cell of the Delhi Police. The victim Renu was the second wife of the head constable identified as Manoj. 

A day later on May 6, Manoj allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself in the Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh. 

The preliminary probe revealed that Renu's murder was the result of marital discord between the two. 

Renu Malik got married to Manoj in 2010 after he divorced his first wife. After the marriage, the couple used to frequently quarrel.

Manoj reportedly used his service revolver to shoot Renu and later fled from the spot.
