According to the Eastern Eye.biz report, Ajay Devgn is tipped to be playing the protagonist in the Hindi version of the BBC One crime drama. If the news is true, then the superstar will step into the mighty shoes of well-known actor Idris Elba. Reportedly, Devgn is in talks to remake Luther for a leading streaming media giant.

Talking about, British psychological crime drama television, 'Luther' then this brilliant piece of series is written by Neil Cross featuring Idris Elba as DCI John Luther and Ruth Wilson as Alice Morgan. The show gets so popular that Elba has been awarded a 'Critics' Choice Television Award', 'Golden Globe Award', and 'Screen Actors Guild Award' for his mind-blowing performance as John Luther.

On the work front, Ajay Devgn will be seen next in 'Bhuj: The Pride of India', directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya which is slated to premiere digitally on Disney+Hotstar platform, August 14th.
