Alliance will win all 8 seats in Sirsa, Fatehabad: Sukhbir Singh Badal

SIRSA: The SAD-INLD alliance would win all eight assembly constituency seats in Sirsa and Fatehabad districts, said Sukhbir Singh Badal .

The SAD president was addressing an election meeting held in support of INLD chief Abhay Singh Chautala in the Ellenabad assembly constituency of Sirsa district .

The alliance parties have, however, fielded candidates for only seven seats and none from the Sirsa assembly constituency. While INLD has come in BJP rebel Gokul Setia's support, SAD has endorsed Gopal Kanda of Haryana Lokhit Party.

Badal said after the eight-seat sweep in Sirsa and Fatehabad, no one would be able to form government in Haryana without Abhay Chautala's support.

The SAD chief said, "I have travelled to many places in Haryana. I can confidently say no government can be formed without INLD's support."

Stating that he had held talks with Abhay Chautala and that the latter had agreed to waive off power bills for agricultural consumers upon forming the next government in the state, Badal said this facility would be extended to all farmers in line with the existing pattern in Punjab. "Many more welfare schemes will be introduced in Haryana once the INLD-SAD comes to power in the state," he added.

Badal said Chautala was the rightful heir to the legacy of Devi Lal and father Om Parkash. "Abhay is committed to the welfare of farmers, field labourers and Dalits. He has always fought for the underprivileged," he said.

The SAD supremo also reminded the people that both INLD and SAD were parties of the villages. "INLD and SAD have always worked the most for the development of villages. The rural Haryana will prosper only if voters elect the alliance to power," he echoed.

Chautala said people should put their trust in the party that talked about the welfare of Haryana and Haryanvis and not those who were trying to befool them for votes.
