Almost 1,000 new coronavirus cases in new single-day high: Punjab

 

Punjab announced more than 900 new coronavirus inside a range of 24 hours – the state’s greatest single-day spike yet – in an advancement that took the state’s COVID count past 17,000, its COVID notice appeared.

The state announced 944 new coronavirus cases and 19 new passings, taking the state count to remain at 17,063 with 405 passings.

This spike in cases is a direct result of an expansion in coronavirus cases in many locale. Every one of the 22 locale of Punjab detailed COVID-19 cases on Saturday, and, with the exception of three regions – Mukstar, Faridkot and SBS Nagar – every single revealed contamination in double digits.

Ludhiana kept on driving Punjab’s areas in COVID-19 cases with 166 new diseases. Jalandhar followed intimately with 162.

Gurdaspur likewise recorded a high number of diseases, announcing 89 new cases – the third most elevated number of cases on Saturday.

Bathinda (76), Patiala (66), Sangrur (37), Amritsar (49), SAS Nagar (34), Hoshiarpur (14), Ferozepur (48), Pathankot (19), Tarn Taran (14), Fatehgarh Sahib (21), Moga (16),  Fazilka (37), Kapurthala (35), Ropar (14), Barnala (26), Mansa (14), SBS Nagar (3), Faridkot (2) and Muktsar (4) all detailed new cases.
