Alumni meet held in Patna

The meet of the Bihar chapter of a premier mass communication institute’s alumni association, Connections 2019, concluded recently at a hotel in the city. Alumnus of different batches of the institute were present at the do and they interacted and shared their views to make the association more effective.

The event saw the presence of association members Promod Mukesh, Bhola Nath, KK Lal, Suvgya Dubey, Saqib Khan, Satyavrat Mishra, Nikhil Anand, Niraj Priyadarshi, Nitin Pradhan , Ritesh Verma, Chandrabhushan, Kapil Sharma and many more.



Bhola Nath, secretary of the Bihar chapter, said, “Most of our alumni are doing well in every field, including journalism and we all are happy to meet after a long time. We hope more and more people join these meets and help make the Bihar chapter better.” Sharing similar views, KK Lal, said, “The alumni have always worked for a change in society. We must keep working with this motto.”

Central committee member Ritesh Verma discussed the funds raised to cover the costs of medical treatments. “We have collected funds for providing medical reimbursement to our association members. We have come up with this idea so that our members, especially freelancers who do not have such facilities from any organization, can avail it. This will help save them from the additional stress they have to go through during medical emergencies. Before availing it, the candidate must give a prior information to the association. Besides, there are also certain norms which we have to follow to get the specified amount,” he said.
