Alwar: Two Arrested For Forcing Muslim Couple To Chant 'Jai Shri Ram', Sexually Harassing Woman
Two men were arrested on Sunday morning for harassing a Muslim couple, sexually assaulting the woman and forcing them to chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’ in Rajasthan’s Alwar on Saturday night.
The couple is from Haryana.

The report quoted Alwar Mahila Thana Chauthmal Verma as saying, ”When one of the men flashed before the woman, the onlookers intervened and called the police. The two men were handed over to Kotwali police. We arrested them after recording the couple’s statement.”
Reports suggest that an FIR has been lodged against the men, identified as Vansh Bhardwaj and Surendra Mohan Bhatia, and a medical examination revealed that they were drunk.
The two were produced before a court on Sunday and remanded to judicial custody.
India Today reported that the couple was travelling from Didwana in Rajasthan to Nuh in Haryana.
Deccan Herald reported that a case was registered under Sections 323, 354A, 295, 509 of the Indian Penal Code.
