Arjun Kapoor on Ashutosh Gowariker's Panipat: We worked very hard on it, I can see the film coming together
From playing a lover in Ishqzaade to a college student in 2 States, to a variety of other roles, Arjun Kapoor has had a series of films to his credit and currently, the actor is busy shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker’s Panipat. Although not much is known about the film but for all we know, Arjun Kapoor has been burning the midnight oil to achieve the body of a warrior and visibly, the actor looks fit.
Talking about Panipat, this Ki & Ka actor was all praises for his director, Ashutosh Gowariker, as he said that there are directors and there are filmmakers and Ashutosh belongs to the second category. “He's somebody who goes into tremendous detail and is a maker in the epic sense of the word. He has evolved into someone who's a gigantic storyteller, who takes on these massive stories and allows them to unfold on the big screen,” said Arjun.
Calling Panipat a great learning experience, Arjun said that post the film, everyone will come to know about the Battle of Panipat. “We have all heard about the Battle of Panipat, but we don't know the importance behind it. We will soon come to know,” said Arjun, adding, “It's something I'm very proud of being a part of. We worked very hard on it. I can now finally see the film coming together.” Besides Arjun Kapoor, the film also features Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon, and the film is slated to hit the screens on December 6, 2019.
