Arjun Kapoor's next after Panipat revolves around crocodiles – details inside

Arjun Kapoor, who is currently gearing up for the release of his next, Ashutosh Gowariker-directed Panipat, has reportedly signed the dotted line for an interesting project. According to a recent report in Mumbai Mirror, the actor has green-signalled a creature thriller film, which will be produced by Ronnie Screwvala.

The yet-untitled film will revolve around crocodiles and will be entirely shot in Thailand. It will be directed by Neha Rakesh, who is making her directorial debut with the film.

The tabloid reports that the recce process for the film is currently underway. A source in the report has been quoted saying, “Arjun is in talks with the makers. He has found the concept interesting. Besides him, there are two more important characters in the story for which Rana Daggubati and Rakul Preet Singh have been approached.”

It added that the film will go on floors in the first half of 2020. Given the film’s subject, the actors will require intense training before they start shooting. The film, which will mark the first collaboration between Arjun and Ronnie, will involve heavy VFX work.

Meanwhile, Panipat, possibly Arjun’s most ambitious film, is based on the Third Battle of Panipat, wherein the actor will be seen playing the role of Maratha warrior Sadashiv Rao Bhau. The historical drama, co-starring Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon, is scheduled to hit the screens on December 6. At the box office, the film will clash with Pati Patni Aur Woh
