Around 1,000 residential properties on display at fair in Trichy city

Trichy: A three-day property exhibition -FairPro 2022- organised by the Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (Credai), Trichy chapter, commenced at Kalaignar Arivalayam near Chathiram bus stand on Saturday. Over 50 residential projects available for sale, developed by builders affiliated to Credai are on display at the event.

“The property fair, organised two years after the pandemic, has started on a positive note. People are approaching the stalls with clarity over their requirements such as their budget plan and location preferences,” said V Gopinathan , chairman of Credai, Trichy.

Around 1,000 residential units, including a few completed projects with prices ranging between 25 lakh and 1.5 crore per unit based on location and floor area were on display. Organisers said that projects under implementation stage in Trichy city, including a new airport terminal on Trichy-Pudukottai national highways and integrated bus terminus on Trichy-Madurai national highways, have created an impact on land cost as well as demands from the buyers.

Apart from the apartment-styled flats, individual house properties were also displayed in the stalls. Additional stalls for building accessories such as sanitaryware and raw materials were also displayed. Builders said that they have brought representatives from banking institutions to offer on-the-spot home loans for eligible buyers. The exhibition has displayed housing properties available in Srirangam, Thiruvanaikoil, Vayalur road, KK Nagar and Thillai Nagar localities.
