Arunachal Pradesh government effects bureaucratic reshuffle

ITANAGAR: The Arunachal Pradesh government on Wednesday carried out a major bureaucratic reshuffle.


A notification issued by chief secretary Naresh Kumar stated that chief electoral officer Kaling Tayeng has been given additional charge as commissioner of Home, PWD, Border Affairs and political.

Trade, commerce and cooperation secretary Onit Panyang has been posted as secretary parliamentary affairs besides his earlier post of cooperation. Niharika Rai, who was awaiting posting, has been posted as women and child development department secretary besides social justice empowerment and tribal affairs.

Govind Jaiswal, who was also awaiting posting, has been posted as rural development and panchayati raj secretary. Abhayankar A Ajit has been posted as sports and youth affairs, IT and communication and science and technology secretary. He would also hold additional charge as secretary to the chief minister. Finance secretary Y W Ringu has been given additional charge of PWD. State protocol officer while agriculture, horticulture and economics and statistics secretary Mimum Tayeng has been posted as animal husbandry and veterinary and diary development secretary.

Tax & excise and industries secretary Anirudha Saran Sing has been posted as geology and mining secretary while skill development and entrepreneurship and textile and handicraft secretary Nitu Tsering Glow has been given additional charge of industries and trade and commerce.Youth affairs secretary Dani Salu has been posted as disaster management and transport secretary.
