Assam: More than 2799 infected patients found in a day

Assam has reported the highest number of 2,886 cases of corona epidemic in one day, which has increased the concern of the present government. Six people have also died in the state from Corona. The total number of patients in the state has reached 48 thousand 161. The total death toll in the state has risen to 115. State Health Minister Himanta Viswa Sarma gave information.

During this time 2–2 patients died in Tinsukia and Dibrugarh. 1-1 patients died in Jorhat and Sonitpur.

According to Health Minister Himanta Viswa Sarma, more new cases have been found in Guwahati. Where 550 people have got corona infection. After this, 294 cases were reported in Kamrup Rural, 213 in Nagaon, and 201 were found positive in Dibrugarh. During the last 24 hours, the highest number of 59,064 sample trials were conducted. The positive rate in the state is 4.86%. He informed that a large-scale trial will be conducted for the next ten days to control the corona infection.

According to information received from media sources, there are 14,615 active cases in the state. 33,428 patients have been cured, and three patients have left the state. So far, 1921 Assam Police personnel have been found positive. Four of these have died, and 1309 patients have recovered, and 443 soldiers have resumed work.
