Attempt to burn cattles by spraying oil failed, police arrested

Shimla: Today we are hearing day to day a case of some crime, two people have been arrested for trying to burn oil by sprinkling oil on cattle in the area under Saluni, block development in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. Both the accused are said to be from Uttar Pradesh. The police is stepping up as the matter becomes serious.

After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and registered a case under the Animal Cruelty Act and is engaged in investigating the case.

According to the information received, according to the police late Friday, two workers of UP engaged in the work of bridge under construction on the Chamba-Saluni road, tried to burn oil by spraying oil on the cattle. This work of both the workers was witnessed by the local laborers at work. They extinguished the fire. Cattle burned up to 10 percent in this incident. As soon as the matter is known, the local people are informing the police about this.
