Kanyakumari It is situated at the southernmost tip of India. Kanyakumari has been a symbol of art, culture, and civilization for years. This place also has its own importance as a tourist destination in India. There is a legend behind the name of this place falling under Kanyakumari, according to which King Bharata, who ruled India in ancient times, had eight daughters and a son. One of them was named Kumari, who was believed to be the incarnation of Goddess Shakti. King Bharat divided his empire into nine equal parts and gave it to his children. In such a situation, his daughter Kumari got the south. In his memory, this place of South India is today known as Kanyakumari. It is a very beautiful place to visit. Here is the confluence of Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea. The view of the sunrise and sunset here is made amidst the huge waves of the sea stretching far and wide.

Ksheer Bhavani Ksheer Bhawani Temple is located in Tulmulla village, 27 km from Srinagar. This temple is one of the major religious places of Kashmir. The place was named Koteshwar because it had 1000 Shivalingas. Here is the Koteshwar temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Even today there are many Shivling. It is said that in ancient times, Lord Shiva gave his soul to him, pleased with the harsh penance of Ravana. Actually, Ravana wanted to establish him in his capital Lanka, but in the middle of the way, he put the Atmalinga on the ground. According to the legend, the Atmalinga is still established in the Koteshwar temple, which was given by Lord Shiva himself.

Kamakhya You may have heard the name of Kamakhya Temple. It is in Kamakhya, about 8 km from Guwahati near Assam's capital Dispur. This temple is dedicated to Sati, the goddess of strength. It is one of the highest pilgrimage centers in India since ancient times. The Siddha Shaktipeeth of Maa Bhagwati Kamakhya, situated on the Nilanchal or Nilshail ranges, holds the highest position among the 51 Shakti Peethas of Sati. It is said that all the devotees who visit the mother here three times in their life get freedom from worldly bondage.
