Ayodhya, the place is known to be the birthplace of Lord Rama. It is a place where you can take a plunge into the pool of spirituality. Ayodhya which is also known as Oudh or Awadh town is located at the South central of Uttar Pradesh state, northern India. This holy region lies on the Ghaghara River just east of Faizabad.

It consists of several temples and is also one of the most revered cities of ancient India.

There are a lot of beliefs around the city, some say that the city was created by Gods themselves.

While today, after a long wait for millions of devotees of Lord Ram , its finally the time to realise that their dream of a temple for their supreme god is being fulfilled. This battle began a century and a half ago and will finally become a reality on 5 August, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi lays the first brick for the foundation of the highly anticipated Ram Mandir in the holy place of Ayodhya.

However, some of the devotees say that this journey has been equivalent to Lord Ram's homecoming from 14 years in exile as per the Hindu epic Ramayana and for some it is the victory of faith and hard work.

The Event Of Bhoomi Pujan Happening In Ayodhya

The mega event happening on August 5 will be attended by 200 dignitaries, this whole guest list includes saints, seers, activists and political leaders.

The two most influential personalities in the whole movement L K Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi will be watching this "Bhoomi Pujan" ceremony through video conferencing from Delhi due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The guidelines for the Covid-19 pandemic which are brought by the Centre, that people above the age of 65 years and persons with pre-existing medical issues are advised to stay at home as they are most susceptible to contract the covid-19 virus. Here, the two personalities LK Advani are 92 years old and Munshi Manohar Joshi is 86.

1. Ayodhya, the birth place of Lord Rama is known as Saket which is an ancient city of India. This whole place is associated with the story of Ramayana in which the birth of Lord Rama took place and was ruled by his father, Dashartha.

2. In the history, it is stated that the city of Ayodhya was the early capital of Kosala. The city of Kosaldesh was basically ruled by many kings such as Sagar, Bhagirath, Raghu, Dileep, Dashrath and Ram.
