Bar girls dance at Ramlila, video goes viral

Varanasi: A video showing obscene dance by bar girls at Ramlila function organized in Rasra area of Ballia district on Friday night went viral on social media.

BJP MLA from Belthara Road assembly constituency Dhananjay Kanojia also was also present in the Ramlila. He, however, said that he left the venue after watching Ganesh Vandana.

The Ramlila organized by Ramlila committee witnessed vulgar dance on filmy numbers. Some people were seen showering currency notes on dancers.

Kanojia denied that he was present during the dance. “I visited the Ramlila venue but returned shortly after Ganesh Vandana,” he told TOI over phone on Saturday.

Recently posters appeared denying Kanojia’s entry into the Puja pandal at Tadi Badagaon of Nagra area of Ballia district during Sharadiya Navaratra for not fulfilling his promises of improving road condition and arrangement of streetlight. The posters went viral on social media.
