Bareilly-Triveni link express to stop at Ramna

GARHWA: BJP’s Palamu MP V D Ram on Wednesday flagged off the Bareilly-Triveni link express from Ramna station at 1pm.


Ram was accompanied by senior BJP leaders Sharda Mahesh Pratap Deo, Alakh Nath Pandey, Mukesh Niranjan Sinha and Raghuraj Pandey. Before this, no express train stopped at this station and this link express train fulfils a long-pending demand of the people of this area.

Several dharnas and demonstration were also staged demanding stoppage of express trains at Ramna station.

Villagers who travel outside the district to earn a livelihood expressed happiness over the development. Ram said: “Not only Ramna, but people of the nearby Dandai and Bishunpura blocks will be benefited by the Triveni link express.”
