Barodians woke up to drizzles on Saturday
VADODARA: Another unexpected change in weather took place in the city when Barodians woke up to cloudy skies and light drizzling in several parts of the city on Saturday. Minor rainfall was also reported in Mahisagar district .
Most parts of central Gujarat remained cloudy or partly cloudy since the morning.
However, significant rainfall was reported only in Mahisagar and Vadodara district .
The change in climate is being attributed to the effects of Maha cyclone that has also caused rainfall in other parts of the state. The city has received repeated rainfall in October that dampened Navratri and Diwali festivities.
Sources in the district administration said that necessary precautions were being exercised as per the directives of the state government.
The cyclone is expected to cause more rains in the state including central Gujarat next week.
