Bihar: Liquor smuggling through truck, police ceases in Supaul

Supaul: At present, liquor prohibition law is fully in force in Bihar. Despite this, liquor is being transported illegally in the state. The latest case is of Supaul district. Here liquor was being illegally brought from other states by truck, but the truck crashed on the way.

According to media reports, the truck of West Bengal number plate was going towards Saharsa late night. Then the truck overturned and the accident occurred near Parasrama village on Supaul-Saharsa main road in Sadar police station area. The driver was seriously injured in this. Police immediately reached the spot and seized a huge amount of illegal liquor from the truck. The police got the seriously injured driver admitted to Sadar Hospital for treatment.

The police has been involved in the investigation of the entire case and is trying to find out the gang. On the one hand, CM Nitish Kumar himself talks about strict action against liquor smugglers. The administration is asked to take strict steps for this, but on the other hand, liquor smugglers are continuously active in the state. Many cases of liquor smuggling come from different districts. Also, many cases of liquor smuggling have come from other states in Bihar. Despite all efforts of the government and administration, there is no shortage in it.
