Bihar SHOCKER! JD(U) men turn goons in Munger, attack Times Now crew for exposing 'booth capturing'

Patna: In a shocking development, workers belonging to the ruling Janata Dal (United) turned goons in Bihar’s Munger and attacked a Times Now crew covering the fourth phase of Lok Sabha polling there.

The JD(U) workers beat up the Times Now crew, including Bihar bureau chief, for trying to record videos of bogus voting in Lakhisarai, that comes under the Munger parliamentary constituency.

The JD(U) goons, who were attempting to capture the poll booth in favour of Lallan Singh – party candidate from Munger, damaged mikes and camera of the Times Now journalists.

The incident happened as the Times Now crew were recording bogus voting being conducted at a polling booth in Munger.

Policemen present at the site did not come to the crew’s rescue. In fact, two constables posted there asked the channel crew to leave the spot.
