BJP holds PM's `Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot' prog in 846 mandals

Bhopal: As part of `Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot' programme, the state BJP took part in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's video conference spanning 846 mandals in Madhya Pradesh. BJP state president Rakesh Singh said Prime Minister delivered the winning formula to party workers ahead of Lok Sabha elections.

“PM Modi interacted directly with BJP workers through this programme.

He advised booth workers to reach out to supporters and public in their area and explain the good work done by the government. There should be a healthy competition between booth workers across the country. They should be motivated to meet as many people”, Singh quoted PM Modi after attending the conference in Jabalpur.

Apart from district and divisional workers, BJP members from across the country participated in the conference. Party leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan attended the programme in New Delhi along with Union minister Thawar Chand Gehlot. Party's national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya attended the programme in Jhargram in West Bengal, leader of opposition Gopal Bhargava in village Garhakota in Sagar district, Satyanarayan Jatia in Ratlam, Nandkumar Singh Chouhan in Chaigaon Makhan and Archana Chitnis in Burhanpur.

Singh said that the programme was telecast live at 19 centres. In his address, PM Modi exhorted the workers to get ready for the final test to bring BJP back to power. "Modiji called booth workers as `booth soldiers' and encouraged them to compete to see who gets the maximum number of new voters, or young voters, or women voters to come out and vote during the elections. The Prime Minister also asked booth soldiers to step up their efforts. If they win their booth and hearts of people, they can work directly for the nation," Singh said quoting PM Modi.

Singh said the Prime Minister also talked about the Congress government in MP saying that it is trying to ruin the schemes initiated by the previous government. He also compared the previous and upcoming elections saying 2014 was to fulfill the needs of the country while the 2019 battle will meet the expectations of every citizen, said the state BJP chief.
