BJP supporter murdered in Madhya Pradesh

Chhatarpur, May 20 (UNI): A person associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was gunned down on Monday outside his home in this district headquarters, law enforcement authorities said.

Mr Deepak Agnihotri the son of Bajrang Nagar Colony-resident Rajesh Agnihotri was targeted by three motorcycle-borne persons who first called the would-be victim outside.

He was believed to be a supporter of Mr Arvind Pateriya who was the BJP candidate from Rajnagar in the 2018 Assembly elections.

No arrests were made until late evening.
