BJYM not to celebrate Holi as a mark of respect to 40 CRPF men

Agra: As a mark of respect to the 40 CRPF men killed in the Pulwama attack on February 14, Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) in Aligarh has decided not to celebrate Holi on March 21.

Vice President of BJYM, Avadh Kumar said, “It’s one of the greatest tragedies and nobody from the organisation would play Holi. Instead, we will organize ‘hawan’ for the departed souls.

We are with the families of CRPF men. No function related to Holi will be observed by us.”

On February 14, a suicide bomber rammed a vehicle carrying explosives into the CRPF bus killing 40 personnel in Pulwama district. The attack also left many critically wounded. The pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammad claimed the responsibility for the attack.
