Bus set on fire after it runs over milkman in Dhar

Mhow: A bus was set ablaze by a mob after it ran over a man riding a motorcycle killing him near Dhar town on Wednesday late evening.

As per Naugaon police, a speeding bus of Prakash Bus Service travelling from Thandla to Indore rammed into deceased Jivan’s motorcycle head-on and ran over him near a Hanuman temple in Jaitpura village, about seven km from Dhar at 6.30pm.

Jivan, 26, who was a milk vendor and was on his way to Dhar for milk distribution, died on the spot.

As soon as Jaitpura residents came to know about it, they stopped the bus and asked the passengers to come out of the bus. After all the passengers came out, the bus was set on fire .

Later, police reached the spot and pacified the residents.
