Bus stuck under railway bridge due to heavy rains, water logging in Karnataka

Bangalore: The bus got stuck under an under the bridge of the railway in Haveri district of Karnataka. Actually, due to the rain, the water under the railway under bridge of Savanur taluk was flooded. Meanwhile, a bus going from Badami to Bangalore tried to cross the railway under bridge. The bus got stuck inside the bridge and the passengers sitting on the bus started drowning.

A team of fire brigade reached the spot for relief and rescue and after 3 hours of struggle, 32 passengers were saved safely.
