Cattle seized in Morigaon, 12 held

GUWAHATI: Assam Police on Sunday seized more than 120 cattleheads which were reportedly being smuggled to Bangladesh and held 12 persons at the Dharamtul area of Morigaon district .


Morigaon SP Swapnaneel Deka told TOI, "Police intercepted five trucks with 126 cattleheads at Dharamtul. All the arrested 12 persons were drivers, handymen and helpers of the trucks."
