CCS cops arrest five, seize 162 gms gold & half kg silver in Warangal

WARANGAL: The Central Crime Station (CCS) police arrested a gang of five robbers and seized 162 grams gold ornaments and half a kg silver from their possession. According to Babu Rao, crime ACP robbers K Sunil , Raju , Ch Prasad, Raju and Suresh became habituated to a luxurious life and for getting easy money they carried out robberies targeting locked residences in the rural part of Warangal district.

Burglars since 2005 continuing the robberies. After their release from prison, the culprits stole gold ornaments at Bapujinagar in Kazipet last month. During the investigation, the CCS identified the robbers through CCTV footage.

The robbers taken into police custody at Kazipet railway staton before being sent to Hyderabad for the sale of robbed ornaments. During the interrogation they confessed their crime.
