Chances of heavy rainfall in Uttar Pradesh today and tomorrow, Meteorological Department issues warning

Lucknow: Weather department of the country's largest state UP has issued a warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall with thunder glow on many areas in the state today and tomorrow. Director of the Zonal Metrological Center JP Gupta said on Monday that due to the monsoon trough line passing through the state and low pressure area created in the northern parts of Madhya Pradesh, the state received light to very heavy rainfall for the next 2 days.

It is likely that a warning has been issued regarding this.

According to the Meteorologist, light rains with lightning in nearby areas including Rae Bareli, Faizabad, Ambedkarnagar, Sultanpur, Azamgarh, Gorakhpur, Santakbir Nagar, Basti, Siddharthanagar, Balrampur, Shravasti, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Hamirpur, Jalaun, Auraiya.

On Wednesday, Fatehpur, Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh, Varanasi, Ghazipur, Ballia, Deoria, Azamgarh, Lucknow, Unnao, Kannauj, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Shahjahanpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Pilibhit, Gorakhpur, Badayun, Rampur, Bareilly, Moradabad, Meerut, Baghpat Mathura, Hathras, Gautam Budh Nagar, Agra and many areas are expected to receive light to moderate rain with intermittent lightning. On the other hand, in the middle of all this, on Monday, cloudburst continued in the state and the hot sun made the heat very humid. Even in the capital Lucknow, the day-long cloudy sunshine continued continuously. The scorching heat caused restlessness during the hot sun. With this, heavy rains are expected in the state today and tomorrow.
