Changing rooms and toilets facilities at Colva beach to be ready by March 2020: Tourism minister

PANAJI: Tourism Minister Manohar Ajgaonkar told Goa legislative assembly on Wednesday the building of parking space, illumination and changing rooms which form part of the iconic beach Colva project under the central ministry is expected to be completed by March 2020.

The question was tabled by Benaulim MLA Churchill Alemao .

Ajgaonkar told the House that the consultant appointed for preparing a master plan for Colva beach is examining the proposal of a power substation. Colva beach though receives tourists in large numbers, it doesn't have basic infrastructure facilities except for a parking facility.

The proposed project of the central tourism ministry is expected to provide facilities that have been missing for the spot.
