Chaos At Bankura Over Tearing Of TMC Party Banners

Bankura: Chaos broke out in Bankura over tearing of TMC party flag on Monday night.

Chaos erupted at Taldangra’s Chowk Shyampur over the tearing of party flag, poster of chief minister Mamata Banerjee and campaign banners. According to the Trinamool party, banners and party flags were hung in an area near Chowk Shyampur bus stand for a rally of party candidate Subrata Mukherjee from the Bankura Lok Sabha constituency.

But on Monday night, unknown people tore them.

The TMC has already filed a written complaint at Taldangra police station alleging political vengeance.

TMC president of Fulmati district Nimai Nandi said, “Unknown miscreants tore some of our party flags, banners and festoons in Chowk Shyampur bus stand.” He alleged that a politically influenced work is behind this and has demanded strict punishment for the culprits.
