Chief Secretary holds video conference to discuss MoUs signed in various sectors

Chief Secretary Dr. Shrikant Baldi today held video conference with the Secretaries and heads of various departments to discuss about the memorandums of understanding signed with the investors meet. He had detailed discussion on the MoUs signed in the tourism, power, housing and industry sectors. He directed the officers to expedite the process of providing sanctions under section 118 to the investors.

He also directed to make it sure that government land should be made available to the entrepreneurs and wherever required, the land bank should be made for land available in the private sector. He stressed that land should be identified at the earliest so that the investors could be facilitated in providing land as per their demand.Dr. Baldi said that a meeting would be convened on 26 November to review the status of Him Pragati portal which would be presided over by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur.

He added that the investors have been invited to Shimla to participate in this meeting.
