Coronavirus: Arunachal Pradesh, declared infection-free, reports 37 cases in 11 days
4.08 pm: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur says the state has been successful in checking community spread of the coronavirus by ensuring institutional quarantine for returnees from other parts of the country, according to PTI. The state has reported 359 cases and five deaths so far.
4.06 pm: The Maharashtra government allows inter-district movement of people in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, PTI reports.
4.01 pm: In Mumbai’s public hospitals, coronavirus patients have been asked to share beds, sleep on the floor, or share wards with corpses that have been left on beds for hours because families refuse to claim them. People calling the Covid-19 helpline are often told there are no beds available.
