Country made bombs, sickles recovered from roadside in Madurai

MADURAI: Two country made bombs and four sickles were recovered from two bags found from a secluded place on the Aruppukkottai Main Road here on Saturday.

Local people found the bags and alerted the Avaniyapuram police.

The police rushed to the spot. They found two country made bombs in one bags and four sickles in the other bag.

The police registered a case under the Indian Explosive Substances Act and the Arms Act and began investigations.
