Couple committed suicide in Kurnool district

A wife and husband has committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling in their residence at Sadukottam Village in Banaganapalle mandal in Kurnool district. The incident has taken place two ago but came to light on Monday morning when the locals sensed foul smell emanating from the closed house. The deceased were identified as Mritunjeya Achari and his wife Saraswathi.

As per the available information, the deceased Mritunjeya Achari was known to be priest at Mudiyala Swamy temple in the same village Sadukottam. The reasons behind committing suicide is not yet known. Police is said to have taken up investigation.
