COVID-19 in Odisha; active cases at 777 as 84 people recover

 

Bhubaneswar:  Eighty-four individuals recouped from COVID-19 in Odisha Tuesday, the Health and Family Welfare division said.

With the recuperation of 84 additional individuals, the all out number of COVID-19 recouped people in the state was 733, it said.

Of the 84 recouped people, 24 are from Ganjam, 18 from Jajpur, 11 from Balasore, 7 from Cuttack, 6 from Bhadrak, 5 from Kendrapara, 4 each from Khordha and Puri, 2 each from Nayagarh and Mayurbhanj, and 1 from Sundargarh.

Upwards of 99 individuals had recouped from COVID-19 Monday, the authority said.

With the recuperation of 84 patients, the quantity of dynamic cases in the state has boiled down to 777 from 861. Seven people, three each from Khurda and Ganjam and one from Cuttack region, have kicked the bucket of COVID-19.
